To the PMRA - We Object! - Safe Food Matters

On December 17, 2018, Safe Food Matters (along with Friends of the Earth Canada, Prevent Cancer Now and Right On Canada) objected to Health Canada’s re-registration of #glyphosate and called for immediate action by Canada’s pesticide regulator, #PMRA.

Safe Food Matters Inc. works in the regulatory and legal arena to ensure our food is safe. In February 2022 we won our case on glyphosate in the Federal Court of Appeal. The Court ordered PMRA, an agency of Health Canada, to revisit our objections to the 2017 risk assessment of glyphosate. One result may be PMRA strikes a review panel to review the glyphosate registration. See more under “Glyphosate”.
